Document Compliance Management
is based on Brainloop's secure, web-based solution that enables you to work on and share strictly confidential documents - both within and beyond your firewall.
A highly secure collaboration environment, protected by 256-bit AES encryption, two-factor access control and a fine-grained permissions system, safeguards all your documents from unauthorized internal or external access. End-to-end logging and traceability of all actions undertaken on a document help you fulfill key compliance regulations. Global 2000 organizations use Brainloop to protect information communicated by company boards, financial departments, legal departments and all other groups needing to share strictly confidential documents.
Highest security standards for your confidential documents
Brainloop uses the most advanced encryption and security technology to protect your valuable documents. This high standard of security ensures that all activities by authorized users in the web-based workspace remain confidential and are reliably protected against external attack.
Highly secure two-factor authentication
Access to the secure virtual workspace is provided by a password-based login system. Brainloop also supports a second authentication process, such as a one-time PIN texted to the authorized user's cell phone. The PIN is valid for a single session and a single user. Other common login infrastructures, such as single sign-on and smartcards, can also be integrated with the system.
Highly secure document encryption
The high-security, 256-bit AES encryption on the server provides effective protection for all documents and prevents them from being accessed by unauthorized users. All files uploaded or downloaded from the Brainloop server and viewed in an authorized user's browser are protected with 128-bit SSL encryption.
Granular access control
Access rights can be defined using policies and applied to groups or individual users. Specific policies include, for example, read-only access to documents which are automatically converted to PDF format.
Tamper-proof audit trail
All actions are logged in a tamper-proof audit trail, providing a clear and traceable view of the information flow. The resulting reports can be generated in multiple different formats
Watermarks / Stamping
To discourage the use of screen capture tools, each displayed page is marked with a dynamically-generated embedded watermark that shows the name of the current user. It appears in the background and does not affect the readability of the page. The text and layout of the watermark can easily be changed if required
Information Rights Management (IRM)
For especially stringent protection requirements, IRM technologies can be used to ensure read-only permissions for a document downloaded by a user to his or her local desktop. A security policy manages the automatic conversion of a Microsoft Office document into PDF and - if required - adds a watermark as well as permissions management policies from Adobe LiveCycle or Microsoft Windows Rights Management Services (RMS)
